Expert Witness

According to Federal Rule of Evidence 702, an expert witness must have knowledge, skill, experience, training and education which will help the trier of fact, judge and jury, to understand the evidence or to determine a fact in an issue.
For audio, image and video forensics, an expert witness has extensive training in the software programs that are used to enhance and authenticate digital media. They also have dozens of hours of experience working in the forensic lab enhancing images exported from CCTV video. Images also have been questioned in court, are they original? Are they real or have they been altered?
